Math Activities Center: Hyde Hall, Room 351. The Math Activities Center is here for students who want some help with their math classes or just need a quiet place to complete their homework. The MAC provides student peer tutors for all undergraduate courses offered by the math department. Peer tutors are generally math majors who are interested in teaching math and practicing their instructional skills.
Reference Librarians: Need help with some research? Looking for some key information? “Ask a Librarian!” They love getting asked stuff. J I’m not even kidding – they live for your questions. It’s a big part of why they got into the library biz.
Study Skills & Academic Tutoring: The PASS Office in Speare 209 will be open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday or by appointment. During this time, peer tutors will be available for study skills and open lab tutoring. If you are in need of a tutor, please fill out our Application for Service and our Tutoring Agreement. Writing Center: Open seven days a week, with experienced tutors who can help you at any stage of the writing process, for class work, or for work outside of class, the Writing Center is located on the bottom level of Lamson Learning Commons. Help with bigger-picture/longer-term academic and personal issues:
Sometimes, folks need to get some help figuring out whether/how they should or can take a leave of absence from school, working through grade disputes or other academic issues.
