Okay as someone DEEPLY ENCHIRED IN FAE CULTURE, I wonder a lot of this story, actually, all Fae stories. Fairies as we know today are NOTHING like what they used to think of Fae. I looked it up and this whole story is like an allegory to Queen Elizbeth, and to me it’s like, why pick the Fae man? Like there are WAY cooler stories to be told about the Fae. I feel like this story for me loses a lot of points just because, I want Fae to be Fae. I want the Trickery, the morally grey, but also just the fact that they are better than you, and I dunno, this guy entering their land to tale a stupide Knight’s tale, yAWN.
